Dear~~first_name~~,

I am writing to let you know about several openings for the LWVMP Board of Directors.  There are currently two openings on the Executive Committee: President-Elect and Secretary, and three open Director positions.  Click the links to see the job descriptions.

We are an all-volunteer Board and as such, we depend on the expertise, skills, and experiences of our members to support and execute our mission (Empowering Voters & Defending Democracy). We use all the resources and tools that are available to us. Your knowledge and experience in League activities is important if you’re considering a leadership role; however, our Board works as a team as we carry out our work.  In other words, we work collaboratively and count on one another for support.  The board meets 2 hours/month on the Zoom Platform.

I’m happy to answer any questions, provide additional details or put you in touch with the person who currently holds a Director position.

My best,

Jean Conway

LWVMP Nominating Committee Chair
